Comprehensive Mental Health, Housing and Educational Services

The organization's mission is found in Jeremiah 9:2,  "O, that I could find in the wilderness of life, a lodging place for the wayfarers." The mission of the HarvestLodge Homes and Services for Children and Families is to provide family and individual counseling, housing, and educational services to children and families.

 

     The housing components include

residential therapeutic homes for children, emergency shelters for children and families, transitional housing, child placing agencies, and personal care homes.

 

     The educational components include childcare facilities, therapeutic day schools, adult education facilities, and post-secondary non-public institutions.

 

     The counseling services include pastoral counseling, crisis intervention counseling, vocational and educational counseling, and intervention services for families where such issues as  mental health, developmental disabilities, or addictive diseases are present.
